Our Combined Program will certify you for a dynamic electrician or HVAC career
COURSE OBJECTIVES AND LENGTH
The objective of the combined study program is to educate the student, with theory and hands on training, to a degree of competency in the Electrical and HVAC field, enabling the student to perform the associated skills, and pass the certification examination; all leading to obtain gainful employment.
The length of the study program is 300 clock hours, where a clock hour is an hour of time less a 5-minute break.
Combined course includes 6 separate classes, 4 weeks each:
Beginner's Classes (Electrical and HVAC)
Intermediate Classes (Prerequisite "Beginner's Class") (Electrical and HVAC)
Advanced Classes (Prerequisite "Intermediate Class" and "Beginner's Class") (Electrical and HVAC)
Class hours are divided between instructional classroom time and practical hands-on training in our state of the art lab. Student will also learn alongside special computer software programs that imitate situations that may occur in the field.
The duration of each class is 4 weeks. Classes are 3 days a week 4 hours each class. Morning, Evening, And Afternoon classes are available. Finishing out the course will be the EPA 608 Certification (License) test. Also covered are 2020 NEC rules for obtain Unlimited Electrician License (Residential, Commercial, Industrial). This is a 24 weeks program. Prerequisites are high school diploma, GED, or approval of school director.
