COURSE OBJECTIVES AND LENGTH
The objective of the HVAC Technician study program is to educate the student, with theory and hands on training, to a degree of competency in the heating and air conditioning field, enabling the student to perform the associated skills, and pass the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification examination; all leading to obtain gainful employment.
The length of the study program is 150 clock hours, where a clock hour is an hour of time less a 5-minute break.
HVAC COURSE
Full HVAC course includes 3 separate classes, 4 weeks each:
Beginner's Class
Intermediate Class (Prerequisite "Beginner's Class")
Advanced Class (Prerequisite "Intermediate Class" and "Beginner's Class")
Class hours are divided between instructional classroom time and practical hands-on training in our state of the art lab. Student will also learn alongside special computer software programs that imitate situations that may occur in the field.
The duration of each class is 4 weeks. Classes are 3 days a week 4 hours each class. Morning, Evening, And Afternoon classes are available. Finishing out the course will be the EPA 608 Certification (License) test.
